  • Q. What is the best shingle to use?
We provide a wide range of shingles and other roofing materials for every style and budget. Certainteed and GAF provide "Lifetime Warranties" for as long as you own your home and we will help you find an affordable shingle that complements your home.

    Q. How long does it take to complete the job?
The average sized home will take one or two days to complete. We can usually remove the old roof and install up to 2,000 sq. ft. of new shingles in a day.

    Q. What if it rains?
We do not schedule work if rain is likely. If an unexpected shower was to pass by we have large tarps to protect the roof.

    Q. Can you install or repair skylights?
    Yes we can.

    Q. Will you roof over my old shingles if I want to save money?
If there is only one layer of shingles and they are in good condition we will consider it. However, we strongly recommend removing the old roof, inspecting the plywood and rebuilding your new roof properly, with attention to the important details that make for a long lasting, trouble free installation. You may be putting a new roof over one that is hiding problems. Removing the old roof is not expensive and should be done.

    Q. Why do you use 15 lb. UL felt and not 30 lb?
The 15 lb. UL felt meets the standards for the best warranties available. It cost more than an unrated 30lb. product. It does a better job allowing water vapor to escape from your attic and lays flatter under your shingles, separating them from the plywood so they can be easily removed decades from now, when they need to be replaced. Felt or "tarpaper" is only a temporary water resistant barrier. Once the roof is on there are thousands of nails penetrating it and it becomes a moisture barrier, keeping condensation off of your roof deck.

    Q. Is a down payment required?
A 50% down payment is required anytime the roofing project exceeds $10,000,00 for any residential job.

    Q. Do you accept credit cards for partial or full payment?
In most cases we are able to accept partial or full credit card payment.

    Q. Are you licensed and insured and can I have a copy of your insurance certificate.
We are fully licensed and insured and will provide you with certificate of insurance if you request one.
